Visited Grand Barbeque on a long weekend start. The outlet is located in the prime spot of Dubai within the proximity of the Union Flag in Al Mina Road, Satwa. The eye catchy Grand barbeque offers popular buffet array with great hospitality and valet parking facilities for customers.
Starting from the entrance, the outlet had fabulous and exquisite interiors, fit out and well-set tables which was truly a great way to start. Grand barbeque offers a massive indoor seating with an option of family rooms for customers. A special mention to the staff as the service and hospitality were remarkable. As the name suggests, it offers a grand buffet with a spread of Indian, Chinese, Arabic, Italian and Thai cuisine. The buffet spread ranged from an option of soups, salads, appetizers, main course, sides, and much more. The outlet also offered live cooking stations for the Italian pastas and Indian chaat. The stations were present in fantastically decored corners of the restaurant. The incredible flavors of emily and spice were perfect for chaat’s. For soups, there was chicken talumein soup and pepper coriander soup followed by a variety of salads with different flavors and dips. For dips, grand barbeque prepares their special barbeque dressing which was exceptionally good. The best among salads was the apple and walnut salad. For the main course, all the tikkas and grills were prepared with authentic recipes. Pepper tossed fish, tandoori prawns, five spice chicken with five spice sauce and Satay chicken were the best among the grills. The Chicken Dum Biryani was exceptionally amazing with the perfect aroma, right amount of spices and flavors. Truly, an amazing use of good quality rice and other ingredients. For the Chinese dish, the Chilly garlic veg noodles is highly recommended for those looking for spicy noodles with crunchy veggies. The buffet also offered a counter for kids with pizzas, fries and crunchy chicken lollipop. Chicken lollipop was cooked in a Thai recipe with apt spices and ingredients like spring onion. A pick for all ages. There were plenty of options for vegetarians, which is not usual. My personal favorite vegetarian grill was the Afghani paneer tikka. For veg gravy, mutter paneer and daal makhani is a must try! It was thick creamy gravy cooked in rich Indian spices and served with warm Indian breads. And of course, my favorite part of the meal was surely the DESSERTS! Grand barbeque serves 15 varieties of the finest desserts along with their popular section of ice creams. For desserts, Phirnee, mango panna cotta, gajar ka halwa with vanilla ice cream, lemon ice cream from the popular Carte D'or section were my personal favorites. The buffet was surely worth every penny. Thanks to Mr Haji Gani (one of the partners) for the invite and hospitality. Grand Barbeque would be soon launching much more to their service like Iftar Buffet during Ramadan, more additions to the grill section, which as proposed would be a surprise and something unique to look forward to! |
