The Cheesecake Factory : Like any other Dubai resident I too have visited the popular Cheesecake Factory. The popular M.H Alshaya group made its first contract with the brand in 2012 and the first outlet was opened in Dubai Mall. I feel that it was the most apt location to attract a large and diverse crowd. Like any other new entry in the markets, Cheesecake Factory also faced many criticism and negative comments. “They are over priced”, “Its all just a hype”, “ They use a lot of cheese” and so on. However nothing seemed to be a hindrance for the brands growth and expansion. In less than a year, the brand surprised the whole market with a bigger bang with “World's largest Cheesecake Factory to open in Dubai “ dated 2013. No doubt the success graph was exponentially high.
Having said a lot about the brand, my family and I have visited all the outlets of CCF in Dubai. Although Dubai Mall outlet is the most visited. Ever since my first try, the outlet has never failed to satisfy cravings for cheesecakes and American cuisine. The outlet easily attained a special place in my options to dine-in. Well its not just me, but my family and therefore as mentioned the visits are numerous. The Dubai Mall outlet has two entrances, the main entrance facing the popular Dubai Aquarium and the other from the indoor souk. Every time we decide to dine in during the weekends, there is always a waiting list. The generic option in such situations is to normally lot of other options. But as of what I have noticed, a major on list would wait till they get their turn. This would indicate the charismatic nature among the consumer towards the brand The overall ambiance and fit-out is simple. The layout is managed efficiently to ensure that maximum seating capacity is attained. The lighting is dim with a very warm temperature color tone, this compliments the ambiance hand in hand. |
We started our meal with the signature CCF style of the assorted bread basket and butter. For main course, we ordered Chicken Madeira, one of their popular main dishes from their specialties. We also ordered Crispy Chicken Costoletta another dish from the specialties, Louisiana Chicken pasta, and Scampi Diane.
Chicken Madeira platter had sauteed chicken breast pieces, topped with fresh asparagus with melted mozzarella cheese. The chicken pieces were covered with sauteed mushrooms and signature Madeira sauce and served with mashed potatoes for the sides. The dish was priced AED 96.
Crispy chicken Costoletta was prepared with sauteed breaded chicken to a crispy golden brown coating. It was served with lemon sauce, fresh asparagus and mashed potatoes. The price for this was AED 95.
Louisiana pasta being yet another yummy pasta dish was rich with spicy flavors of mushrooms, peppers and onions. It was served with the spicy Orleans sauce; topped with Parmesan crusted chicken. This was priced AED 90.
Scampi Diane is a specialty factory combination platter with shrimps and steak served with mashed potato. This double dish platter was priced AED 115. Shrimp Scampi is an authentic Paris Bistro style dish covered with garlic, fresh basil and tomato flavoring, then sauteed in lemon butter sauce. The dish was served with Capellini. The other portion of the dish had steak Diane. The steak was cooked in black peppercorn and rich mushroom sauce marination. We ordered the steak to be well cooked.
And lastly, for a sweet ending we ordered a slice of Tuxedo cheesecake priced at AED 34. This was truly a marvelous creation and a must try for chocolate lovers. The layers of chocolate fudge cake, chocolate cheesecake, mascaporne mousse and chocolate ganache was happy treat to the tummy!
Raspberry lemonade is highly recommended for drinks.
