Chicken Seekh Kebab

- 1kg minced chicken
- 4 tsp ginger paste
- 4 tsp garlic paste
- 4-5 green chillies, chopped
- 1 small onion finely grated
- 2 tsp ground cardamom
- 3 tsp ground cumin powder
- 2 tbsp fresh coriander finely chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley finely chopped
- 1/2 cup finely grated cashew
- Salt to taste
- 1 hardboiled egg white
- Bread crumbs (if necessary)*
METHOD
The kebabs can be served with a quick apple slaw, mint chutney and hummus, if desired.
- Can be cooked using an oven, preheated to 180 C or in a tava pan until all sides turn golden brown.
- Marinate the chicken mince in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes with all the ingredients except the egg.
- Grate the hardboiled egg whites and mix it in the mixture once refrigerated.
- Take a metal or wooden skewer and form the chicken mixture into kebabs with your hands.
** Incase the mixture seem gooey or loose, mix in sufficient bread crumbs in order to firmly hold on to the skewer - Place on greased pan.
