My initial visit to Parkers was a lot different from the current experience. The brand initially was set up as a park canteen at the Al Khazan Solar Park . However despite being a park canteen, the brand quickly was a topic of trend and unique experience. The main contributor to add the unique experience was the hunt for Park keys. Without finding the keys no one could place an order at the canteen. This not only increased attention but also threw in an element of surprise and pleasure.
This also increased their customer returns and as a result in no matter of time they were able to retain a huge number of customers. However, the move to Dubai Mall was a total transformation of ambiance from a peaceful park to a busy mall. The doubt about the fun filled activities and park canteen presentation all looked at stake for a moment. |
However the efficient PR team was able to pull it out off with ease. The hunt for keys still remained within the mall and other neighborhoods. This time the hunt was more interactive through the use of Instagram. Each post had a clue and made it easier for the customers to find the keys. The presentation and outlet still retains the outdoor ambiance with simple decors and fit of white furniture and indoor plants well distributed within the outlet. Another bit of my favorite element would be the use of rainbow tins which are placed as tissue and spoon holder on each table.
As mentioned, the PR teams post on Instagram would definitely taunt and tempt any individual to try them atleast once. The reason for this is the high quality content and timing of posts
The menu has also been updated quite often to cater to different taste choices. Pasta, burgers, sliders drinks; they have got the whole deal you would expect for treating yourself after a long stroll through the mall. The recently updated menu for breakfast was also a quick talk mainly through social media. This was mainly because of the promotion of egg parking lots in Dubai Mall which resembles and supports a healthy breakfast.
As mentioned, my visit of the outlet in the park was detailed and was keen to see for myself in how they were able to replicate the same indoors. To my luck I was able to find the key right next to the outlet which is located on Level 7 next to cinema Parking. I chose an off time to avoid the rush at both the mall and outlet. Despite this, the outlet was still packed but was able to secure a table in less than 5-7 mins

Being an off time in the evening, I decided to get a small snack and desert. After brushing through the menu, I decided to get cute little Crispy Chicken Slider and the most spoken dessert which is none other than ‘Back to School’
The crispy Chicken Potato (AED 21) is a cute little slider filled with colorful red cabbage slaw and crispy fried chicken.
The unique flavor of spicy mango sauce is brushed on the slider buns and crunchiness is added through potato strips. The only downside I felt was the price to quantity relation. The tiny slider would easily get done by1.5-2 bites and was a bit over priced for this quantity.

However ‘Back to School’ would simply bring out the childishness in anyone. The presentation of the dessert is simply a replica of the good old school days of sharpening and coloring. A piece of moist chocolate pudding layered with peanut butter is served along with chocolate crayons and a sharpener. Each individual is supposed to use the shavings from the chocolate crayons as a topping for the pudding #HighlyRecommended.
All I got to say is ‘A visit is a must and the rest would automatically follow into you by itself’
