Texas Roadhouse is a typical American styled diner. The one in DCC; is located on the second level and offers ample seating both inside the outlet and even in the outside common areas of the mall. The interiors and fit-outs are done in the same style and manner which portrays a typical American country style diner. The outlet is filled with taxidermy and therefore adds more to the ambiance.
Every table has a bucket with complementary groundnuts, which is something that could go on and on without control. Often I stuff myself with this and the complimentary butter toasted buns served with additional cinnamon butter . Due to this I lose my appetite for the main course. The staff is extremely proactive and friendly. Every time my soft drink got over; they would proactively refill it without mentioning or asking them to do the same. During one on of my family dinners at Texas Roadhouse we ordered the Sirloin Beef Rib; the only comment on this is the positive high quality meat. It is priced at AED 109, a bit expensive but taking into consideration the quality it’s an absolute win-win for both the pocket and tummy. The Smothered Chicken priced at AED 59 is an extremely well marinated and tenderly grilled chicken breast with sautéed onions and mushrooms served with scratch gravy. The mix of the gravy and sautéed contents is really filling. For both, we opted mashed potato’s as sides instead of corns. The other orders were the BBQ Chicken Burger priced at AED44 and the Spicy Buffalo Wings priced at AED39.The BBQ was yet again a well marinated chicken breast with their own signature BBQ sauce. It was served along with fresh cut lettuce, tomato and onion’s. My personal favorite is the Spicy Buffalo wings which has the option for either mild or hot wing sauce. The wing sauce is an original sauce by them. We always order the hot sauce as it is served with sides or condiments of celery and bleu cheese dressing. Overall, a very stuffy and filling meal with absolute high grade ingredients and definitely worth for a solid. |
