Tea club is yet another apt spot if you are in search for some dining along with the spectacular view of the Burj Khalifa and the massive Dubai fountain. This joint has made its place in the Hidden Gem category and Tea Spot collection on Zomato. Well, it is true as they offer wide selection of traditional tea and it is a true hidden gem, as majority of the crowd are still unaware of this restaurant. In fact, even I was unaware of this place till my colleague forced me to go lunching with her.
My colleague and I chose to hire a cab since we weren’t sure of finding parking within the proximity. However, this joint is located among several other renowned food joints. The fit out was exquisite, they showcased all the premium tea flavours they served by shelving them neatly. The seating and other furniture’s were more like the fantasy English teashop you could think off. Along with the furniture, the use of bright chandelier just added on to the luxury ambiance. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating and by no say, the outdoor seating is spectacular during winters and during evening hours due to the fountain. However, due to the scorching heat majority would void the outdoor seating during summer days. We noticed during the peak lunch hours, the outlet seemed quite unoccupied. Every table was well laid with the tea and food menu, napkins and cruets. The menu was well-segregated folder, one section completely for the tea and the other section completely for food. Each item in the menu was briefly listed along with the prices and ingredients. |

For starters, we ordered a platter of Eat Begins priced AED 71. This dish comprised of 3 items from the starters and two dips; buffalo chicken titbits, chicken and cheese stuffed mushrooms and crispy potato along with ranch sauce and a sauce of cheese and celery. My favourite from the three was the chicken and cheese stuffed mushrooms. The crispy potato was a complete let down from the platter with raw flavours of potato and no crispy crust. The buffalo titbits were tiny boneless pieces of chicken well mixed in buffalo sauce.
For main course, we ordered a Grilled Chicken Stack and a Confused Burger. The Grilled Chicken Stack is a must try for cheese lovers with delicious layers of melted ricotta cheese. The grilled chicken were topped with layers of ricotta cheese and mashed potato. This dish was priced AED 88. #MustHave’s
The Confused Burger would totally confuse and surprise anyone due to the servings they offer. The huge beef burger was priced AED 59. The patty was topped with shredded steak, melted cheese and plenty of veggies like grilled mushrooms, sautéed onions, bell peppers, tomato and lettuce. The burger was served with crunchy hand cut French fries and ketchup.

For drinks I ordered the Rose berry mock tail and my friend ordered the usual strawberry mojito each priced AED 29. I felt the Rose berry mock tail had a unique taste and would be a really good pick for the summer quench. The blend of mixed berries with a hint of rose sauce was perfect. The mojito was prepared from fresh strawberries and mint leaves with additional lemon-strawberry extracts.
