It is quite a shame that even though I have been studying in knowledge village for the past few years, it was recently that I came across a true hidden gem. Royal Mughal is located in the media city area. As the locality is filled with offices and educational institutions there is no further need to elaborate on their sales and customer. For sure it would have a strong and healthy revenue. It was mainly because of my friends that I got the opportunity to taste some yumm and authentic Indian food. And I must point out that the quality of spices used was something that could easily mesmerize a true Indian foodie. We placed an order for a delivery, the person who attended the call patiently took down our order and pro-actively offered to try out their best sellers. But however it was one those days in which the ultimate craving was for biriyani for me and my friends
We placed an order for two Dum Chicken Biryani priced at AED 36 each. Surely it is towards the higher side but we had hopes that we wouldn’t be disappointed. The service was decently quick as we received our delivery within 30-40 mins after ordering. The packaging used was superior and the biriyani was neatly presented. It was served with some soothing raita as well. As soon as we opened the container, it was a strong tantalizing aroma of Indian spices. At that instance itself we were definite that there won’t be any room for regret. It was topped with dried mint leaf to accelerate the aroma more. The chicken and rice was prepared with the right blend of spices. It was genuinely a Dum Biriyani, unlike the ones where they use the name Dum but end up mixing gravy and rice separate. The chicken was tenderly cooked and was easy to tear and chew. It was a true Indian lunch experience after a long time. I have heard quite a lot about the interior and ambiance and would like to visit the outlet real soon. |
