Parkers is a concept outlet which serves some cute mini sliders and interesting desserts. It is located in one of Dubai’s eco friendly solar park (Al Khazan Solar Park) which is located direct opposite the cram City Walk. One of the unique trait of this outlet, is the fun filled activity of searching the key within the park in order to make an order. This is the first time I have ever come across such a concept and I find it as an extreme original idea. As it offers pure outdoor seating, the ambience is to be certainly marked high; it offers Burj Khalifa as the backdrop with String lamps across trees.
I visited the outlet during the ‘No Key’ hours (3pm-7pm) so I could order directly. The sliders were really tiny and a single slider didn’t certainly suffice my hunger. So I decided to mix match my order with a Smoked Shawarma (AED 19) and a Sriracha Shrimps Roll (AED 29) sided with some Truffle fries. The staff recommended me to try their Black Lemonade (AED20) as it would trigger better digestion. As the name suggests the drink was black in color and had the fresh lemonade taste with no extra preservatives. The sliders were prepared with simple dressings. This was not only a treat to the taste buds, but also gave a homely food vibe. The Smoked Shawarma was a Charcoal Smoked Chicken sandwich with a simple touch of white cheddar cheese with some fresh cut circular fried onion along with bbq sauce to ensure that the slider was not dry. Similarly the Sriracha Shrimps Roll served in a mini finger roll was a simple slider of deep fried shrimps with lettuce and sriracha sauce which is a typical Thai sauce. The sauce is a unique sauce as it contains peppers, vinegar, salt and sugar; therefore a sauce both sweet and spicy. The truffle fries were yet again fresh cut potato with some high quality truffle oil as it be could easily noticed with the flavour. Overall a quite spot with some fun filled activities. I hope Parkers continue the same growth curve adding new burgers to their menu and displaying the same level of quality and output |
