MOYLO, the unique name also prevails in its unique outlet fit out. This small burger joint is located in one of the prime locations of Jumeriah. I happened to have a chat with my family about the best fries in Dubai, and that’s the first time I came across this name. At first, I had an impression that it would be yet another fine dining place. This name came up yet again, but this time it was for a lunch plan with a friend. But when I reached the outlet, the picture in my head was literally the vey opposite.
The outlet had a very retro or in other words a very street type ambience. The faded colorful tables with ordinary street stool chair all added to this unique ambience. I was really amazed with the lighting and roof. It had the colorful milk container basket arranged in an array with small ordinary bulbs hanging down from it. So when it comes to ambience it earns a solid 10/10. For Burgers we ordered the Hot Chick and the Chicken run and for sides we ordered their famous and trending Parmesan Truffle Fries. The staff was extremely friendly and was very frank when it came to giving suggestion. The Hot Chick burger had a crisp fried chicken patty with their signature spicy sauce and spicy mayo as a fill in. It also had a touch of homemade coleslaw to ease off the spiciness and to me it was a perfect combination to enjoy the crispness of the patty The chicken run burger had a well marinated grill chicken breast piece with some fresh veggies like tomato, onions and lettuce. They even add their club sauce as a fill in to give a 100% customer satisfaction rather than leaving the sandwich dry. The main reason or attraction to this place was its fries and unlike the over hyped places, I would say moylo is a winner and has some unique and crips fries. To complete these fries would be their dip which was extremely nice and if I am not mistaken I must have had 3 full container as it was really complimenting both the fries and the burger To summarize I would give it a solid 5 pointer for this joint for keeping the menu simple and for paying larger attention for matching unique flavours and spices. |
