Are you in search for a proper fusion restaurant which takes a right balance of the fusion without losing the traditional essence, well the option is quite simple then, Moshi it is! This joint made its appearance in Dubai food and beverage market just recently with two outlets so far. As the name suggests, it is a joint, which I would say specializes in popular picks from Nepal and Japan. The momo’s from Nepal and sushi's from japan are prepared with a blend of authentic flavors at Moshi.
Moshi has recently been a favorite try out for majority because of the fusion makhi rolls and the unique momos they prepare. So, my siblings and I visited the outlet in Oud Mehta on a weekend afternoon and we were quite thrilled with the summer menu and the trending flavors. The outlet is located amidst numerous other food joints, right next to the Malaysian trade center with a very spacious layout. I noticed that, orange was the signature theme shade and was used all throughout the outlet. The contrasting interior along with filament bulb created a decent indoor ambiance. The staff at Moshi were proactive and very friendly in explaining the menu and offerings. Every table was well laid with table mats, menus and a pot with all sorts of cutleries and chopsticks for the meal. |

We noticed a lot of local favorites were transformed into the Moshi specialties and we decided to give them a try. For the main course we ordered a Flamin Chicken Cheetos, Oman chicken chips and one spicy chicken noodles. The flamin chicken Cheetos and Oman chicken chips were the fusion maki rolls specialities. The crunch in each bite was truly delicious and mouthwatering. The Oman chicken chips priced AED 29, was rolled maki with a layer of chicken, cheese and crushed oman chips on the cover. The flamin chicken Cheetos priced AED 32 was rolled maki with chicken as the center, topped with crunchy flamin Cheetos. These maki roll platters were served with wasabi and pickled ginger.
The chicken noodles was priced AED 24. It was prepared wok style with crunchy bell peppers and tossed in moshi sauce. The noodles were served along with a spicy sauce, as requested.

For drinks, we chose a Kinder Bueno Milkshake and strawberry mojito each priced AED 18. Being a kinder bueno lover, the milkshake was delightful for me, however the preparation was an ordinary blend of ice cream, full cream dairy and the chocolate. The Strawberry Mojito had the usual tangy and slushy taste with fresh flavors of mint leaves and strawberry.
Definitely, returning to try more of the Moshi specials.

For a sweet ending to our grand meal at moshi, we ordered a Nutella Maki. This platter was perfect for our dessert cravings; slightly warm nutella rolled in crispy pastry sheet with dusted icing sugar and more Nutella drizzled on the outside. The oozing Nutella was simply best in our mouths ❤️❤️
