Labenese village is one of the only Arabic restaurants in Bur Dubai. The outlet offers plenty of indoor and outdoor seating but finding parking nearby is quite a task. During winters, I’ve noticed the outdoor seating is mostly crowded. Most customers are residents around the area, or from the nearby hotels or metro users.
Our usual orders are cheese/zaatar manakish, Lebanese shawrama or mix grill platters. They also offer a variety of Arabic pastries and mezzes. The manakish and pastries are served fresh and warm to customers. Manakish is served with various toppings like cheese, zatar, and lahem (meat); priced between Aed 6-10. The mixed pastries are priced Aed 36 (12 Pieces). The Lebanese shawramas are one of the best in town. The tender chicken shredded with right amount of garlic, pickles, and fries makes the shawrama juicy and yumm! There is an option of Mexican shawrama, served spicy compared to the lebenese shawrama. The shawrama is priced Aed 7; for lebenese and Mexican (spicy). They also have shawrama platter comprising of chicken shredded, pickles, fries and garlic served with Arabic bread kaboose for a price of Aed 30. For the grills, they offer chicken, meat and seafood. Every platter is cooked using the finest quality spices and seasonings. I’ve tried the mix grill platters; every piece of chicken and meat is well cooked and served with grilled vegetables and French fries. For the sides, they serve hummus. I must say the hummus served is fine creamy texture with right consistency of tahini and olive oil. Overall, good value for money. They also offer home delivery. |
