I came across Ginza St. Bakery when I was put on a waiting list for a dine in in Galleria mall. I had gone during the Holy Month of Ramadan and had to break my fast. Ginza st. is a kiosk with ample seating where there was no rush. I was with my brother and at first the menu fascinated me with the various choices for tea. Actually it must be the first time I have been to an outlet that offers a lot variety in beverages.
They even offer some quick bites and pastries; like various assorted buns, cakes. With too expectation we ordered a lychee and pomegranate with mint green tea. As the name looked really strong with its flavor, our expectation was set at a very high level. Indeed, it turned out to a disappointing try, really faint flavour and not worth the price. It was priced roughly around AED 17-20 and the prices were different. To overcome the bitter flavor in the green tea, we bought a cheesecake from their cake menu. Therefore, Ginza St. is a kiosk that displays a very promising menu but would just fit in the average or ordinary scale. |
