Gazebo has always been my first choice when it comes to a decent authentic Indian cuisine. The Mankhool outlet, offers sufficient parking for the customers; though on weekends there is a minimum of 30 minutes waiting for dine in. The restaurant interiors are neatly done with efficient usage of space. Gazebo offers an extensive menu for a 3-course meal. A special mention to the friendly staff, they explain every bit of the dish in a detailed way.
They never fail to surprise me with the aroma of their popular Dum tikka biryani, butter chicken, dal makhni and assorted naan(bread) baskets. The Murgh Tikka biryani is well flavored with Indian spices and masala. The boneless chicken pieces and aromatic basmati rice is steam cooked in dum/layers. It is served in typical Desi matkas(pots). My favorite gravy is the butter chicken. The boneless chicken pieces are marinated in Indian spices and added to rich creamy gravy that comprises of butter, cream, and cashewnut paste. The dal makhni is rich and has a delicious creamy texture. The naan basket comprises of various flavored Indian breads served warm and crisp topped with desi ghee. They also serve yummy Indian desserts and beverages for sides. Overall, the food is delicious and worth the try. Quantity of each dish is sufficient for 2 and sometimes more. Presentation of each dish is always done neatly. |
