Well, when I sat down to think of where to start for Chili's, I was clueless as everything seemed to be great about this joint. I have always enjoyed every meal at Chili's mainly due to the surprise element they add to the menu frequently. As mentioned in my previous posts about Chili's, the Molten Cake is simply irresistible or in fact can be categorized as irreplaceable.
The branch on Sheikh Zayed Road is quite different. From the exterior it looks like a typical duplex outlet, however, the lower level is purely dedicated for the warm welcome. Therefore, constraint to just the upper level, the management has ensured effective seating plan to achieve maximum numbers. Like any other branch, the SZR outlet too follows the typical brand interior fit out. The seating comprises of closed seating couches and open spots with the signature colorful tiled dining tables. However, a unique element would be the model of the brand logo as the name suggests a red chili. The touch of yellow walls and framed photos gives it the ambiance of a typical American Diner. Like mentioned, the brand ensures to surprise the crowd with something new always. The current highlighting strategy is the Fajita Festival which is a must try for authentic Mexican style fajita. Being under the Saleh Bin Lahej Hospitality Group, they always ensure premium experience partnered with quality. |
Chili's ensures to update their menu regularly maintaining high standards for the old and new dishes. During my recent visit to this outlet for lunch, I noticed that the outlet was fairly occupied with the staff’s proactively engaged in serving the guests.
I placed an order for a Country Fried Chicken and my friend ordered the Smoked Chicken Jalapeno Mac & Cheese. The country fried chicken was a heavy platter with two sides priced at AED 56. The deep fried crunchy chicken fillet was glazed with black pepper gravy and served with mashed potatoes, french fries and garlic toast for the sides. The staff was very generous and attentive in fulfilling all our requests for add-ons and dips.

The Smoked Chicken Penne Pasta was a lavish cheesy combo priced at AED 65. This rich and flavorful pasta was cooked in thick creamy Alfredo sauce, with cheddar cheese, and jalapenos. The pasta was topped with tender pieces of smoked grilled chicken seasoned with smoked paprika and glazed with melted cheddar cheese. The combo was served with typical Mexican flavored pico de gallo (sauteed tomatoes, onions and jalapenos) and a garlic toast on the side.
For drinks, Peach Breezer is a very refreshing pick for the summer. The blend of orange juice and peach with lemon makes it a proper citrus drink and is priced at AED 23.The peach ice tea priced AED 16 was also refreshing with free refills.
As mentioned, Chili's is always been one of my favorite diner since they have never failed to surprise me.
