Burgerhood is located in the newly trending Wasl Vita in Jumeriah 1. This outlet specializes in the American style burgers and sandwiches. he color scheme of the outlet is turquoise with a mix of dark brown adding the contrast. The outlet even offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor area gives a view of a live kitchen. The outlet has a typical parquet flooring.
I decided to visit the outlet along with my friend during a calm weekday afternoon. The outlet was empty and as the weather was pleasant we decided to sit outdoors. However the seats were not very comfortable. After a look at the menu we decided to settle with a Mushroom and Swiss priced at AED 35 and a Breaded Chicken AED 36. The staff was friendly and very proactive. He suggested about their Zero Fat Burger which was a sandwich of grass fed beef patties and he added that it was healthy. However as we were in the mood for extreme junk we decided to go with our initial choice. The Mushroom and Swiss was a typical beef burger with Swiss cheese and mushroom sauce. The breaded chicken was a deep fried breaded chicken breast with lettuce, tomato, onion and creole sauce. The staff also mentioned that both were served in a buttery brioche bun which was extremely soft. For sides were ordered the regular fries with added cheese and chili con carne. The chili co carne had mild spiciness and was a treat along with melted cheese. For desserts we ordered, a chocolate molten cake priced AED 25. This dessert platter was not an unfamiliar combination. It was the usual chocolate cake served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and chocolate drizzled for the topping. The chocolate cake was moist and gooey but the presentation was not very appealing. The overall experience was delightful, however the only downside I felt was that the price and quantity ratio didn’t go well. The quantity was too less compared to the price. Irrespective of that, the quality aspect remained high up itself. |
