Bazxar being a popular newbie in the market came with a bang, creating curiosity among many of how and what they had to offer. However we could not completely categories them as a newbie, as they fall under the family of Create Hospitality, who is the parent company for many successful joints namely Pret 2 Go and El Sur. The growth and diversification of the group into different cuisine has been definitely remarkable.
The outlet is located in the major business hub, DIFC Gate Precinct Building 4 on Level 2. The location not only attracts the corporate world but also true foodies due the presence of other popular fine dine chains. The main reason that attracted me to the outlet was the fit out done by the interior designer Bishop Design and mass social media popularity. The outlet is segregated into two; a proper fine dining and a casual dine in spot. The fit outs and props for both the areas complimented the ambiance well. According to the F&B industry the fit out of the outlet is described as ''industrial''. Bazxar's interiors is a combination of contemporary art, wooden flooring, mesh metal work with brass finishes, custom-designed leather furnishings for the fine dining area and usual wooden table and benches for the casual area. As I visited the outlet along with my colleague during the rush afternoon hours, finding a seat was a challenge, however in less than 10 minutes we were guided to our seat in the causal dine in area by Ms Princess. The lighting was well dispersed and it lit each and every table well. I was unable to explore and enjoy the fit out due to the crowd, but really looking forward to visiting them soon just for this. The menu is split into sections of Vietnamese food serving steamed bao buns, soups and noodles, Meat District serving burgers and hot-dogs; a bakery and coffee section; and a wine bar. |

So for the main course, we chose to have a signature Buttermilk Chicken Burger and Soy Glazed Chicken Noodles. My personal favorite from the two was the Buttermilk Chicken Burger priced AED 50. It had the perfect crunch, flavoring and juiciness in each bite. The deep fried chicken fillet patty had a subtle sour taste from the buttermilk and the pepper flavoring in the breaded crust. To add on, the layers of ranch sauce, shredded lettuce and mayo was truly finger licking good!
The Soy-Glazed Chicken was a wok-fried dish, prepared with tossed nuts like peanuts, cashews, and water chestnuts. The preparation also included ingredients like green onion and lemongrass that added to the aroma of sizzling soy sauce and chicken. This was priced AED 55. The presentation and aroma was simple and appealing. Even though the soy glazed noodles was tossed in authentic flavorful Asian spices and flavoring, it was partially a let down compared to the buttermilk burger.
For drinks, I ordered a Berry Burst and a Nutella Frea-X-Shake as a dessert drink. The Berry burst priced AED 25 perfectly complimented the main course with a refreshing element in each gulp. The tangy and refreshing flavors of the mixed berry with crushed ice had a unique soothing taste.
I decided to try the Nutella Frea-X-Shake after hearing a lot from many on social platforms and I must say, it was worth every penny! This massive drink/dessert was priced AED 40. The nutella chocolate shake topped with whipped cream, crunchy pretzels, two fingers of KitKat and chocolate chips was served in an average sized jar. The chocolate shake was rich and creamy! To add on, our server drizzled warm nutella glaze on to the drink. The aroma of the beautifully draped nutella shake was insane with chewy caramelized pretzels and goodness of kitkat chocolate bar.
So, as my food exploration went well at the casual dine in, I am definitely hoping to return and experience the fine dining concept of Bazxar. #AsianTimes #KickassBurger |
